Brain drain : An article from: Australian CPA
Editorial Reviews:
Book Description Intellectual property (IP) is part of the bigger picture of knowledge, innovation and intellectual capital. In general, the law gives the creator of a work an exclusive right to own its IP for a fixed period. The Audit Office of NSW recently examined how intellectual property is managed by 14 agencies in the public sector. The findings point to a potential for lost opportunities. Management is responsible for ensuring that IP assets are managed in a publicly accountable way; that resources are appropriately allocated for the management of IP; and that innovation is encouraged.
